Santa Fe Wrap
This festive knit wrap pattern is reminiscent of the beautiful hand-woven rugs and tapestries from the American southwest. The Santa Fe Wrap is an easy garter stitch knitting project and is a satisfying pattern for the fledgling knitter. This pretty, striped wrap is a great neutral to have in your wardrobe and looks fabulous with gold, chunky jewelry. The Santa Fe Wrap is a fun and festive piece perfect for anyone who enjoys beautiful knitwear.

Beautiful shawlette made with a nice chunky self striping yarn. I love the Laines du Nord Calipso colorways too, they are so subtle. If the shawl does not drape nicely, I suggest going up a size in needles (to size 11) since the size of the shawl won't matter if its a little big, though it will likely take more yarn. The brooch is a nice touch too.

This just came out as a really stiff triangle-no give at all-so I changed to a worsted weight yarn on the same needles and it has some drape and is quite forgiving to wrap around someone.
