I love to knit with fine yarn. I love that this pattern comes in three sizes as well. How versatile! The instructions seem easy to follow but not boring. Any of these sizes would be a nice gift. I always need something additional to wear in the office since the temperature changes. I can see wearing this for different seasons, from the spring where you need something when the breeze picks up, the summer for those cold air conditioned offices, the fall for the cooler weather and the winter where you can drape it over your coat. Sounds just perfect. Thank you.

I made this pattern in black to wear over a sleeveless dress. Very pretty.

This is a very pretty pattern, and not too difficult to follow. The designer provides instructions for a large shawl, medium shawl, or scarf. Using the sock or super fine weight yarn with the size 6 needles will help give it a lacy look. I think I would try making the scarf size in a cotton yarn for warmer weather.

I really like this pattern! It almost seems to have an Asian influence to it. I've never made anything from a fingering weight yarn but I know I'll like the more delicate feel it will give the product. It would look beautiful in a black with a very bright colored dress underneath!
