This is a great pattern for knitting up a set of socks quickly. The designer uses two strands of yarn held together, a self striping and a solid, and she changes to two strands of solid for the accent areas. The socks are knit on size six needles so they will be bulky and warm.

The pattern states it is EASY, however, when you click on the pattern instructions, it states it is DIFFICULT. I think it is DIFFICULT myself since you need to know how to knit with two different colors.
