So lush! I would love to make this but one cable width more narrow. Would anyone know how many stitches i need to cast on?

The cable panel is 24 stitches, so you could reduce in groups of 24 stitches, however that is going to make it about 12" narrower

Oh my word, this throw is so GORGEOUS I just have to make it! Thank you so much for the free pattern. Great big huge cables and a wonderfully snug and cozy look. A really nice dcor piece as well as being perfect for getting cushy and warm on the sofa in chilly weather. I am going to have to live to 100 to have the time to make all the wonderful patterns that I save.

I love the giant cables in this throw - quite stunning! It's just all texture. Don't put it out when the cat's around or you'll never get it back.

Best drapey cables in this throw #BestIdeaEver

I agree! That looks snuggly and warm!
