    You shouldn't use the words "Downton Abbey" for this item just because it is a popular search term. This clothing just doesn't fit the era and it is very misleading.

    I think this is from the 50s.

    That pattern is late 40's or early 50's, I mean, look at her hairstyle!

    This is a lovely set. However, when you go to the website and look, the pattern was published in 1949, a good 30 years after the setting for Downton Abbey.

    I agree completely you are pushing a free pattern that is NOT of the victorian Era which the Downton Abbey Series definitely was at the end of. IT starts with the sinking of the Titanic in 1912 not close to 1949
