This is a nice variation on an old pattern that I have seen, but never made. I like the way she picked up and knitted ribbing along the ankle. You could make that as long as you wanted, to keep your legs warm. I will have to rry it now and see!

When I first saw these slippers, I thought they looked at lot like the first slippers I ever knitted when I was young. Turns out the designer did indeed base her slippers on that old classic pattern. I really liked them when I made them years ago, so I pinned this pattern so I can make them again.

These slippers look easy to make. Also I like the fact you can add some kind of trim at the top. I have some fantasy fur yarn that would look perfect.
