I like vintage patterns and I like working on small needles but I wish they included sizes with this pattern. I have to do a bit of math on this to make it a smaller size. I like my sweaters a little loose but size 14, or so I saw in a prior comment, is still too big for me. It would make a lovely sweater though. Thank you.

I really like most vintage patterns, including this one. I think I would like longer sleeves, maybe elbow length or even three quarter length, but I can't see that would be a problem to change as long as I didn't get carried away with shaping. It would be an easy pattern to update, too, just by relaxing the shaping of the body.

I love basketweave and don't usually see it in a sweater pattern. An added bonus is that the pattern is written for size 14 (but since it's a vintage pattern I wonder if the measurements have changed?) I may just try this out.
