"This is a very easy and fast sweater to knit. This technique is simple and the result is beautiful. If you are new to the knitting world or need help at any point, I will provide a link for a full video tutorial from start to finish on how to knit this sweater. Depending on the yarn you select for this project, this sweater can be used either for chilly days or more cold days. Also it can be wore for casual or for more formal events. I think the picture of the sweater looks good, but the pattern is so poorly written and she doesn't respond to questions for clarification, so this will be a project of trial and error.

How many balls of yarn are required. I can't find this info on the pattern or video. Thanks

Hi mickeymcfar 468450 0, we suggest directly leaving a comment on the designer's blog post with your question. The designer did mention she used almost 5 balls of yarn to make the sweater in a size small. Hope this helps! -Kathryn, Editor of AllFreeKnitting

I like this sweater to a point - I would want it longer but that should not be difficult to arrange I welcome the suggestions from Paver2, and shall follow them when I cast on this sweater...

I like this sweater, but you will no doubt have questions about it if you don't watch the video she linked to. Also, read the video comments and her answers to them. It's not complicated, but things like gauge and size of the neckline, etc., are not addressed on the pattern page. After you find the information, it doesn't look hard at all to make.

This sweater would be great with jeans - can see wearing it for long walks with the dog or with another person for company
