This is possibly silly to say but I have seen adult and kid ponchos but I have never seen a baby one. I think if this was done all in white it could be a stunning piece for a christening instead of a blanket or shawl. You could even add a bit of ribbon along the end of it.

For those who would still like to knit this poncho. I figured out the errors and based my corrections on the total number of stitches at the end of each row. I will give you the corrected rows and knit the rest of the pattern as given. Here are the corrected rows: row 6: K3-*K2-inc 1* (14 times)-K3 48 stitches row 10: K3-*K3-inc 1* (14 times)-K3 62 stitches row 14: K3-*K4-inc 1* (14 times)-K3 72 stitches row 18: K3-*K5-inc 1* (14 times)-K3 90 stitches row 22: K3-*K6-inc 1* (14 times)-K3 104 stitches I hope this helps.

There is definitely something missing from this pattern. What about finishing this? It has a provisional crocheted cast on but does not say how to finish it off. Disappointed to see the other comments and no response from Allfreeknitting. I was really hoping to do this pattern this week.

It is not the responsibility of All Free Knitting to correct the errors in another designers pattern. If you believe there are errors or problems with the pattern, you should be leaving the comments and questions for the designer on the site for the pattern, not here where the designer is unlikely to see them and may not even realize there is a problem.

Hi Amber, Thanks for your message. We suggest that you go to the page and highlight the text, then right-click on it. You'll get a window that gives you the option to "copy." Do that, and then paste the text into a word document. You should be able print that document that way. Another option is to highlight exactly what you would like to be printed. Then, select print from your dropdown menu, and change your print range from all to selection.

I have been knitting for 49 years, and was always taught to knit what the pattern says. This is the most frustrating, directions I have ever dealt with. You should take this off your website.

I am not new to knitting, and I am having big problems with this pattern. I believe there are some mistakes. It's a shame, because it's cute and I'd love to make it.

I consider myself an advanced beginner. However, I found this to be quite tricky. It would be helpful if the # of stiches were made available for each row. And there is no way this takes 5 hours. Perhaps 5 weeks, 5 days and then 5 hours. Help!
