I love this diagonal pattern! A variation of this pattern is also used for dishcloths. I love that you can also use it for a hooded baby wrap. A kitchen cotton is best to use to absorb the moisture. I also found the Premier Home Cotton, 85% cotton 15% polyester, from Herrschner's is wonderful to use for dishcloths and other items used with water.

A blanket for the baby to cuddle in right after a warm bath is sure to put the little one to sleep. The pattern seems simple to follow! While the cotton yarn used to knit this blanket is discontinued, Lion Brand has a organic cotton yarn that I think would work just as well.
