Baby Fishermans Hat
"This soft and squishy ribbed hat is perfect for keeping your little ones head and ears protected from the cold. Makes a great baby shower gift. Since this hat is so stretch, it fits sizes newborn through 2 years old. It’s a nice and easy pattern, something you could make while watching tv - pay a little more attention when you get to the decrease rows though. You’ll need size 7 circular knitting needles in 16” length, as well as approximately 100 yards worsted weight yarn - less than a skein for sure. The hat in the image was made using Caron Baby Cakes, but you could use any worsted weight yarn that is soft enough for baby’s delicate head."

Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)

This hat is absolutely adorable and a very easy project. The directions are very well written and easy to follow. I can make it up quickly. I need to do it in reds and greens to go with a Christmas out fit I made for a friends grand baby. They didn't want a typical baby hat. This will be fine.
