Knitted Baby Cardigan
"I want to share with you a different way of making a Knitted Baby Cardigan using a pattern that starts by knitting a sleeve and ends with the other one. In this case, not only will it have this twist, but also, we will be using the wrong side of stockinette stitch. A very unusual option but that leaves a very pretty and original result."

How can it be adjusted for baby size 3-6 months?

Use your gauge to calculate how many more stitches to cast on for a larger sweater, but the easiest way would be to use bigger yarn and a larger needle and follow the existing pattern as written.

I like this pattern. Can it be adapted for a premature baby of 4 lbs? Also what is a stocking net stitch? Thanks.

To adapt it for a smaller baby use a #3 yarn and go down to a 4mm needle, stockinette stitch is knit on right side, purl on wrong side, so knit one row purl one row.

This looks adorable but I don't understand. The pattern says it is a rectangular loom knit but the pattern looks like it is on needles. Does it require modification or is it written for needles? I can't wait to cast it on.

Hi schiebet, this pattern is completed using needles (not a loom). The information has been updated accordingly. Our apologies for the confusion! -Editors of AllFreeKnitting
