Yarn Weight(5) Bulky/Chunky (12-15 stitches for 4 inches)
Gauge3 stitches, 4 rows, 1 inches. Stockinette Stitch

- US 11 (8 mm) dpns or circulars
Instructions
Skill Level: Easy
Size: Newborn
Waist = 13" circumference
Hem = 16" circumference
Height = 6.5"
Materials:
- Bulky weight yarn #5 in as many colors as desired
- US 10 (6 mm) dpns or circulars
- US 11 (8 mm) dpns or circulars
- Yarn needle for weaving in ends
Gauge with US 11 needles: 3 stitches and 4 rows = 1"
Abbreviations: K = knit, P = purl, dpns = double pointed needles
Pattern
Stripe Sequence for 3 colors:
Round 1 - 6 = Color A
Round 7 - 10 = Color B
Round 11 - 14 = Color C
Round 15 - 18 = Color A
Round 19 - 22 = Color B
Round 23 - 26 = Color C
With Size US 10 dpns or circulars, cast on 48. Join to knit in the round. Use a stitch marker to keep track of the beginning stitch.
Round 1: *K2, P2* around
Round 2 - 6: Repeat Round 1
Change to Size US 11 dpns or circulars.
Round 7 to Round 26: Knit around
Cast off. Weave in all ends.

This is so cute I could make hundreds of them in different colours. The pattern is really easy to follow and knits up fairly quickly. It is a great way for beginner so to learn knitting in the round and the benefit of this is there is minimal sewing at the end and no visible seam. I really like the matching headband but the pattern for it is not here, I did find some similar patterns on this site so will use one of those in matching yarn.

Pattern Not available? when will pattern be available? loved that its a beginner pattern. Would love to try to knit this. What a tease... If pattern is not available, why post it?
