- 6 balls Barisienne Yarn in Vert fluo (29648)
- 7.0 mm straight knitting needles
- 1 tapestry needle
Notes
Stitch used: Garter stitch, knit all the stitches.
The Barisienne yarn is knitted using 2 strands together with 7.0 mm needles.
Tension/Gauge: To achieve a good result it is essential to make a tension square: Cast on 20 sts and knit 30 rows in garter stitch.
Measure: the tension square should be of 10 cm (4 in) = 13 stitches x 24 rows.
How to Knit the Scarf
The finished scarf measures approximately 20 cm x 2 m ( approximately 8 x 78 in).
Cast on 27 stitches.
Work 480 rows (2 m/78 in) in garter stitch.
Cast off all the stitches and cut the yarn, leaving a 10 cm (4 in) length of yarn.
Using a tapestry needle, insert the loose ends along the edges, 2 stitches in from edge across several rows and trim excess yarn.

I just made this hat but the pattern is very incorrect. I went onto a web site- not free knitting - and someone figured out what was wrong with the pattern so I was able to finish it.
