Very nice job. I wasnt expecting to see such a lovely dress. This pattern really is for a very experienced knitter as you will be using several different sizes of knitting needles and even a crochet hook as well as several different types of stitching to get this look. I do like it, but I would choose a different color for me.

have never knit a dress before - seems like a large project, but this makes me think it is time to tackle that size of project - the empire waist line and the scalloped hemline with the herringbone interest creates a dress that rivals a commercial knit -- beautiful pattern indeed
