With so many friends and relatives having babies in the upcoming months, my needles are busier than ever. Finding new projects is easy, but keeping up with my yarn stash is not. Luckily, Cascade Yarns has a beautiful and affordable yarn option that is soft enough for any baby blanket, hat, sweater, or pair of booties. Cascade's Cherub Aran Yarn comes in a variety of colors in both solid and variegated options, so no matter what you are looking for, you will find it.
Cherub Aran yarn is 55% nylon and 45% acrylic, and it will work well with any pattern you have. Each skein contains 240 yards of yarn, so you don't have to worry about running out halfway through; simply buy in bulk to match the yarn lot, and if you have any leftover, try embellishing your blanket or using it in a different project. Once you feel how soft this yarn is and see how many colors it comes in, you will try to find any way possible to use it.
My favorite aspect of the yarn is its sheen. No wonder its name is "Cherub," because once you've worked up your project, it practically glows underneath a light. Any baby swaddled in a blanket made from this yarn will shine like an angel, and if that blanket is hung over a rocking chair or a crib, it will look like it is straight from heaven.
