I had the same problem with the star until I realized you knit 3 without removing, scoop or yarn over, go back through the front if the same 3 stitches and scoop or yarn over again and pull through. That way you have 3 stitches .

Hi, sfuller16 5694467. I'm sorry to hear of your trouble. I have two options for you: 1. You can contact the pattern designer directly for help. The designer is specified in the byline. 2. I might also suggest that you try posting your question to our sites Facebook page. It is monitored by the editor and is a great resource for helpful tips and suggestions from our Facebook friends; perhaps they can offer some guidance! Did you get your answer? I posted responset in the wrong place. When you k3, you'll have one loop on your right, with the right needle, scoop the yarn from behind as a yarn over,(now you have 2), go back through the 3 and get another strand to pull through (another yarn over makes 3), and then let fall off left needle.
