Summer Night's Top
Knitting patterns for spring and summer must be two things: lightweight and lacy. This beautiful Summer Night's Top has both of those qualities in addition to adorable button fasteners. This is a great project for a beginner who is itching to try out some lace knitting.

Thank you for the confirmation, I was sure you meant to drop the stitch, I mean slip the stitch off the needle, something I do without meaning to.

TDiva, in the previous you would have made a yo (yarn over). On this row, you will work each stitch as directed. When you come to the stitch that you made via the yarn over, you will simply take that stitch off the needle and "drop" it. When you look at the picture of this pattern you will see what appears to be length of yarn between the stitches. That is the yarn over that you dropped.

When you get to where it says to drop the yo's, you just slip it off the needle, it makes an elongated stitch. Really beautiful. Good luck!!

I love this pattern, however , I am confused, I do not know how to"drop yo's"! A quick reply would be so appreciated, as I am psyched to get it started!!! TDiva
