I don't know if my skein was slight, but I ended up having to order another skein of yarn for the purse. Have not yet felted it, but love the pattern!

This is a lovely, simple to make pattern. I made 2 for Valentine's gifts. First one, I made three lengths of the handle, felted them, and then braided & attached to the purse -- it makes a sturdier handle. Second one, I made the original handle, but knit one row before binding off. I have not felted the handle yet. My niece loved her Valentine purse!
