Chain Stitch

"Chain stitch is a perfect stitch for beginners and those one who prefer easy and fast projects. I was using this stitch to knit a hat and it was absolutely gorgeous. For the pattern you need knowledge of basic stitches such as knit and purl. If you want chains lay closer to each other, just do not knit Row 5 and 6 and start repeating the pattern from the beginning. I recommend using bulky yarn for this stitch but medium worsted yarn can be used as well."
