From the blogger: "This pattern is the first square in the Harmony Blanket Knit Along, featuring 48 free knitting patterns for 6” (15 cm) squares by 13 designers. The Diagonal Seed Stitch Square uses a traveling stitch pattern made with the seed stitch for added texture. Skills used: Basic knitting skills (cast on, knit, purl, slip stitch, bind off), knitting flat in rows. Skill level: Easy. Finished size: 6" (15 cm) square. Materials: Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice yarn (100% acrylic, 3.5 oz/100 g/170 yd/156 m) – 1 skein in 130 Honey, or approximately 38 yd (35 m) in any medium weight yarn. US Size 7/4.5 mm knitting needles, or any size needed to obtain gauge. Yarn needle. Gauge Completed square = 6" (15 cm) in pattern. Exact gauge is not critical for this project."

This is really interesting! I've done straight seed stitch, but I didn't even know diagonal seed stitch was a thing.
