I'm not the best when it comes to describing myself, but here's a bit of what I am: I learned how to knit when I was 8 years old, in Uruguay. I learned by watching my sister. I've been knitting on and off since then. I live in the country where we raise cattle and chickens and have 3 dogs. I've been an artist since I can remember, my paintings were in art shows and exhibitions in many different cities of the US.

I am knitting the Two Hour fingerless gloves (the ones shown using a blue varagated yarn and I am a little confused on the ending directions and how you bind off the thumb then continue with the rest that are on the holding needles. Help Please.

I printed the instructions by Onix Terevinto ..and started to make the fingerless gloves however the pattern is a bit confusing it states after the ribbing on the inc row you follow you purl a row and knit a row then it says next row k increase however it should be a purl row the directions consistently through out say knit a row purl a row knit a row the increase next with increase ..I think what the instructions are saying is knit a row purl a row and the next row should be knit with increase ..the pattern on each row follows knit 1 row ..purl 1 row knit 1 row next row knit 18 stitiches very confusing ..however I am not following it I am knit 1 row pevurl 1 row knit with inc next row Bev

Onix, I have been trying to knit Boxes Full O' Seeds pattern and I'm having problems with the first segment of the pattern. I can't seem to be able to keep the seed stitch pattern after the first six rows. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but it works later on in the pattern. Thank you, Teri
