An attractive pattern, with matching hat, blanket, and sweater. What a wonderful gift for the new baby, but I would suggest that one knit a couple of extra pair of mittens and an extra hat or two newborn babies are always moving their arms and hands, frequently scratching their faces. The extra mittens gives Mom a chance to keep little hands covered while another pair or two are being washed and dried.
