Angelica Vest
This pretty lace knit vest pattern is a great way to layer as the weather gets cooler. The Angelica Vest is a beautiful deep plum knit accessory that will add texture, color, and interest to any outfit in your closet. This vest has a delicate lace construction with an attractive ribbed edge, and it looks great over a plain t-shirt or paired with a simple dress. The Angelica Vest is the perfect dark color for fall and winter, but it is lightweight enough for a year round piece, as well.
NotesWhen working chart, be sure to work corresponding inc's and dec's together. At selvedge edges, if a yo is the first st of the chart, work m1 instead of yo.

Help! I cannot get the lace pattern to line up after the binding off of the 4 stitches on each side for the back, and then decreasing from there. Do you count a yo as a decreased stitch and not do the yo? When K2tog includes only one stitch from a "/" do you then k1 to continue the pattern?

I learned long ago to read the pattern first before starting a project. While reading the pattern, I noticed that the neck and armhole shaping was included for the Right Front but appears to be missing for the Left Front. Also, the pattern seems to be written out twice. Could you please rewrite the pattern so the it reflects the neck and armhole shapings for both fronts. This is a lovely pattern and I would really like to work on it. But I want to make certain that I'm doing it correctly. Thank you very much. Yours truly, Bonnie Mayer

The neck and arm hole shaping is simply written after the instructions for the right front-it refers to both. hope this helps.

It is very annoying to have a pattern promoted as a free knitting pattern (Angelica Vest) and everytime I click for the pattern I get taken to a website to promote a book or something I don't want. Could you please send me the pattern for the vest you advertise?

The vest pattern is in the free e-book connected to the link. Not only do you get the Angelica vest (as advertised), you get lots of other (free) patterns in the book as well. Sadly, if you want the vest pattern you have accept other free patterns as well. What's the big deal?
