I was looking for a pattern for a men's hat and here it is. Simple yet it will knit up nicely. We are concentrating on knitting men's hats in the charity knitting group I belong to. Winter is coming, it gets cold here in NYC and we need mens' hats. Now I don't have to look any further. Thank you.

This is a great simple basic hat pattern. No fancy stuff for the guys, just straightforward ribbing. It's a versatile pattern that could be made in more subdued colors like earthy greens or browns for the more laid-back guys, or for the more outgoing, bright colors like red or lime green.
