Such a cute little hat, and fun too! I know of several kids who would love this. Changing up the colours would create a nice variety of spiders. If you wish to stuff the body of the spider you could make a circular piece that is the same diameter as the widest part of the black section of the hat. Then stitch it in place inside of the hat, adding a bit of stuffing between the pieces.

This might be kind of fun to make for Halloween, but I think I would make the main color blue or pink rather than gray. I think a brighter color would offset the black spider better, but that might just be me. It would probably be worn just a couple of times then it would seem inappropriate, but it looks easy enough to make.

I was going to ask if anyone could think of a way to slightly stuff the body of the spider to make it stand out a little. I hit "submit" too fast!
