This is a really easy pattern to follow if you are fairly new to knitting and are looking for your first hat and booted pattern, the instructions are really easy to follow and it gives you a detailed instruction for each type of stitch such as how to make one. This is a really cute design and could easily be adapted for a boy by substituting the pink yarn for a blue or green. It would make a cute Easter gift for a little one who cannot yet have chocolate Easter eggs and the pattern has different sizes available.
