I have just made this hat but in the absence of round needles I did it on straight needles and stitched it up after. Even with the slight issue of not having the correct needles I managed very well thought once I got to the decreasing I didn't agree which row the author and I were on. Don't be afraid give it ago I have made a huge pom pom for the back of it I love it can't wait to go for a walk.
