Boy's Sporty Brioche Sweater
The Boy's Sporty Brioche Sweater is a great piece for an active little boy. This free knitting pattern combines brioche stitch and garter stitch. The end result is a stylish and functional child's knit pullover. The pullover features a seamless saddle shoulder. Brioche was used for the body of the garment, while the sleeves, shoulders, and collar were made with garter stitch. Doing so makes the sweater more flexible for active play. That brioche stitch looks a little intimidating to me, but this is a really cute sweater for any little boy! Although I personally think it still has the "old grandma" look she was trying to avoid, I think that makes it even cuter. I'm not sure I would make it for a very small child, though, since they grow so fast and it takes awhile to make something like this.
