I love this! Patterns that "hack" more complex styles while using simple stitches are right up my alley.

Whenever a pattern says quick and easy it gets my attention, and this one looks like it lives up to its title. With the bulky/chunky yarn and big needles it should work up quickly. Since it's knit flat, if you wanted you could make it longer and don't join the ends to make it into a scarf.
