Winter Beach Cable Cowl
Beaches are often revered for the fun you can have at them on sunny days, but have you ever been to the beach in fall or winter? The gray sky reflects in the water, giving it a magical quality not found in summer. That is what the Winter Beach Cable Cowl emulates. Snuggle up on those frigid days with this easy cowl project. Never cabled before? No problem. This is one of the easiest cable knitting patterns because it teaches you how to cable without a cable needle, a technique you can take on to other projects.

Definitely not an easy pattern. I have over 50 years experience and found just the pattern difficult to read. i do love the look of it but it will have to wait until i have more time and a lot more patience to do.

I think the pattern itself is fairly simple, but it's the whole explanation of the designer's way of cabling without a cable needle that was difficult to understand. I didn't think it was any easier than actually cabling and knowing me I'd be more likely to drop stitches doing it her way.

I like this cowl - the subtle colouring and the cables make it a stand-out
