This looks like seaweed growing up from the ocean floor. I really, really like it. It seems to have some texture which would be good for scrubbing dishes and-as I've said before-I love making dishcloths. They're quick and a fun way to practice a new kind of stitch. I really think this pattern would translate nicely to an afghan.

This is a lovely pattern. I think, though, that it might be a little lacy for using as a dish cloth, even though it has some texture. It might do better as a fancy wash cloth. It would be great in an off white, sand, or aqua color for the bathroom.
