My friend loves Holly Hobbie and Sunbonnet Sue things so I think she will love this dish cloth! I pinned it to make for her. It looks harder than it is. You just need knit and purl stitches to make the design, so I would call it Easy instead of Intermediate. I'll have to make sure I keep close track of where I am in the pattern for when I get interrupted, which always happens!

Perfect for a little boy! Start teaching him early how to wash up with his very own washcloth. Make them in colors he loves. Make sure you use a kitchen cotton that will easily absorb water. Best to air dry cotton. Substitute a nice, soft yarn and make squares that you can stitch together into a cute baby blanket. Squares made in different, vibrant colors would be delightful!
