The Braided Hope Blanket isn't as welcoming as a loving embrace, but after you wrap yourself up, the soft texture and warm fibers are almost as good. This simple, knitted blanket is easily adjustable for any size you need. It makes a great blanket for the nursery, a couch throw, or a back-up for extra chilly nights.

I love that this pattern looks like cables, but uses a different method instead. So much easier! I've never tried using a cable needle, but I'm a pretty low maintenance knitter, so I don't want to have to add something new.

When I first saw this blanket pattern I thought it probably used cables. So I was surprised to see that it doesn't, and the pattern is actually pretty easy to make. I love the texture, and you can easily adjust the pattern to make the blanket whatever size you like.
