Double Pennant Baby Blanket
This Double Pennant Baby Blanket is a sweet and easy baby blanket knitting pattern. Using a double pennant stitch pattern that's actually much easier than it looks, you can knit this free knitting pattern, even if you're not an expert knitter. The stitch pattern is simple because it simply uses varying knit and purl rows to create the blanket's texture. The stitch pattern is lovely and interesting, but doesn't overwhelm the yarn color choices, which are perfect for baby. Make this knitted baby blanket in the colors shown, or try any other color palette fit for baby's room.

Looking at the picture makes me want to touch it! It would make an awesome blanket for grownups, too, but it would take a long time to make it! Looking at the pattern, it seems pretty simple and straightforward easy enough to do and it could be done in anyone's favorite colors (although I like the ones shown).

I just love the textured pattern of this baby blanket! The gender neutral colors are very trendy too. But you could also go classic with pink and white or blue and white and it would look great as well. It's a little time consuming to make with the lighter yarn but I'm sure the dense comfy feeling of the finished blanket would be worth it.
