I really like the look of this afghan, but as someone else commented in 2015, I was shocked that it requires 68 balls of yarn, but then I saw each ball is on 1 oz. WELL, how many yards in each ball? After quite a bit of time on my laptop doing research, I have figured that each ball is approx. 63 yds/57.6m which translate to 3213 yds/2938 m of Grey, 378 yds/346 m Mild Rose and 693 yds/634 m of Field Green. I hope this helps anyone else who see this patterns and is concerned how much yarn they need.

This is a beautiful afghan. However, it is not "easy to learn how to knit" it. It actually requires some advanced techniques in order to create the raised flower and leaf patterns on it. That said, if you have the skills, go for it and you'll end up with an heirloom piece.
