Learn-to-Love-Steeks Blanket
The Learn-to-Love-Steeks Blanket uses the process of steeking or cutting your knit work in the round to make a hole in the fabric, to make one cool blanket. This free knit blanket pattern is put together like one big striped sleeve and then cut down the middle so it can lie flat, like a blanket! This afghan is an intermediate knitting pattern and is more about pushing the limits of what the craft can do than putting together a nice afghan. The blanket, in the end, is just a bonus!

This is really unique, but also terrifying, haha. I'd be so nervous doing steeks on something this time-intensive.
