Plaited Throw
The Plaited Throw is an intermediate knit pattern that looks like dozens of woven knit braids coming together to make the coolest textured afghan. The free knit blanket pattern looks more like it was woven on a loom than stitched together on two knitting needles. This cool texture is created by twisting the stitches while you're working them, which requires some finesse, but is ultimately worth the trouble. This knit blanket is masterfully designed and super soft, which makes it the perfect throw for almost any room in your house.
Knitting Needle Size11 or 8 mm, Circular Knitting Needles
Yarn Weight(1) Super Fine (27-32 stitches to 4 inches)
Gauge22 stitches = 4 inches in the stitch pattern

What a unique texture. It looks almost like a basket. I'd use a different color (maybe grey or forest green), and enjoy having a long-term project like this!
