Shadow Study Throw
The Shadow Study Throw is an advanced knitting pattern that shows us knitting isn't just a craft, it is an art form. This free knit blanket pattern uses colorwork techniques to give the lighter colors of the blanket the appearance they're being shadowed. The main stitch used throughout the piece is the easy garter stitch, but the hard part comes with the mixing of so many colors and the use of intarsia. However, once you master this knit blanket pattern, there's no limit to what kind of shadow shapes you can create in its next iterations.
