This is an interesting textured afghan - haven't seen anything like it before. I'm not crazy about the gray color, though, so if I made it Id chose something different. I think it would look fabulous in deep earth tone colors, or maybe lighter colors like sand, aqua, or cream.

This afghan has wonderful texture and is simple to scale up or down. The designer provides instructions for different weights of yarn and different size needles so its a very adaptable pattern. I think of making it as a baby blanket to keep those little hands busy feeling the texture.
