@taxestoo 7849519, I'm sorry; it looks like the designer has taken down the pattern for "Quick Baby Sweater." You could try contacting the designer; her e-mail address is gallent61@yahoo.com.

This says it matches the famous "Quick Baby Sweater" but I can't find that pattern

It simply means what it says, put your needle under the strand of yarn between the stitch you just knit and the one coming up. Loop your yarn around the needle just like you would to knit and bring the needle toward you, slipping the "made" stitch unto the right-hand needle. So you have added a stitch to that row.

Yeah too bad there is no close up maybe in a different color. l understand the bar before the next stitch exactly as it is the one strand in between 2 stitches. lm gonna give it a try...from what l can see when l strain my eyes real bad it looks nice. Too bad some just can't take a decent photo especially if its to be shown on the internet...yes...dissapointing.

Maybe I am misunderstanding the pattern, but what does (K in bar before next st) mean? I want to make the blanket, but I have never seen this instruction before. Please help. Thanks. Norma

My sentiments exactly. The provided picture does not give you a clear picture of what the blanket actually looks like. Also, not able to get a close up of picture of the blanket. Will probably try to make this anyway. But it would be helpful to have a better picture.

It's a shame that you would shaw a white baby blanket on a white background. How is one suppose to see what it looks like?
