Autumn Leaf Bag Charm
Want a knitting pattern idea for a stylish friend, or are you a knitter looking for autumn crafts? This rustic Autumn Leaf Bag Charm is knit in four autumnal colors like a real October leaf. The soft charm is intended to have a handmade look, which means it's very forgiving of errors--the perfect project for a new knitter. The cord connecting this autumn craft to your bag can be made on a spool knitter if you have one, but don't worry if you don't--the pattern also provides instructions for making it on double-pointed needles.

Is it just me? But I'm always looking for ways to use up every last bit of yarn. These are such a good idea. I'm planning to make most of my own Christmas gifts next year and these would be brilliant stocking-fillers. I wonder if you could adapt them to be holly leaves or even Christmas trees?
