"This hat was made as a gift for the daughter of my dear friend, Jon. Jon posted a picture of a pink hat on Facebook and mentioned that Elaina would look adorable in it. I happened to agree, so I thought I would make one for her. Both the ear flaps and the bottom stripe are 2 layers thick, so Elainas adorable little head will be nice and warm. I decided this hat is so cute that her mom needed one in her favorite colors, so I wrote the pattern for kiddos and adults. PLUS: They glow in the dark!"
