Knit Furniture Feet
If you have hardwood floors, you’ll be familiar with the threat posed by chairs that are regularly dragged across the floor. Skip a trip to the store and, use some scrap wool yarn to create your own Knit Furniture Feet. These handy little pads slip over the end of your chairs and act as a soft barrier between the floor and chair foot. With this handy, easy knitting pattern you can opt for an environmentally friendly way to keep your floor perfectly finished.

This is such an interesting idea. I don't think I ever would have thought of it. I'll have to stash this one away in my brain! You could make them in the same color as your chairs, or do a fun striped pattern or something, as long as you're going to make them.
