Quick Knit Coffee Cozy

"Knit this quick and easy coffee cozy as a last minute gift. This is such a simple project and I wanted to spice it up by trying a stitch I’ve never used. It is framed in garter stitch and the texture is created by holding the yarn in front while slipping the stitches, then transferring the stitches back to the left hand needle and knitting. The result is the longer floats that stand out as you can see in the picture below. I really like the way it turned out.
