"The Sami Washcloth is a beautiful quick make that would make a wonderful last-minute gift or a stocking filler. This stitch pattern would make a wonderful blanket and the Washcloth can be used as a gauge swatch! The washcloth features lovely diamond stich pattern using knit and purl stitches and a garter stitch border. Skills required Long tail cast on (CO), knit stitch (K), purl stitch (P), bind-off (BO), blocking. Notes Similar worsted weight yarns may be substituted; please check gauge. The washcloth is worked flat from bottom up with the diamond stitch pattern being the right side of the project. The washcloth has a border of garter stitch (knit stitch on each row) on left and right side. "
