Revenge of the Kea
"This shawl/scarf is inspired by the plumage of New Zealand's infamously mischievous and intelligent kea parrot. It is threatened by invasive species like the Australian brush-tailed possum, so knit with possum yarn, avenge the kea! This scarf/shawl is knit from side to side in garter stitch using German short rows. It is available in two sizes - scarf (skinny) and shawl (wide). The photo shows the scarf version. The pattern recommends lace or fingering weight yarn, but you can easily modify it for heavier weights."

Very pretty and a different look. I really like the design. The story behind it is very interesting too. I like when a designer explains the name on a project. This is a little more advanced than I am use to but I think with the great directions I will be able to do it.
