Take the Trolley Scarf
"Designed for the Red Scarf Project, but it would also make a great first bobble project or a lovely gift. Mostly knit and purl combinations with a mini bobble for added texture and excitement, this pattern is easy and fun to knit. Includes a link to free video tutorials for making the bobbles and knitting and purling through the back loop."

I've been meaning to learn to bobble stitch, and this seems like a great starter project for that!

Awesome scarf pattern and it comes with a challenge to knit something for kids in foster care via the Red Scarf Project. The pattern is straightforward with clear instructions and you end up with a beautifully textured muffler.
