Giant Basket Stitch Scarf
Large and in charge, this Giant Basket Stitch Scarf boasts an attractive and accentuated basket weave stitch that looks far more complicated to make than it really is. Just follow this easy knit scarf pattern, and in hardly any time at all, you'll begin to see the design emerge right before your eyes. And because this pattern calls for bulky yarn, this is a quick knit that offers instant gratification.

I located the original pattern by accident. It's by Ann Budd and can be found at http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/basketweave-scarf-3 on Ravelry. Ann does her scarf in worsted weight. The pattern posted by Pipergirls is the exact same pattern, it just doesn't give credit to Ms. Budd.
