I want to knit this, but am concerned about comments about mistakes in pattern, I don't want to spend a lot if time and effort only to find out the project won't work. Has anyone completed this shawl? Would appreciate any tips or advice anyone has to offer. Thanks for your input. Jeanette

Paton's patterns on their website have had errors before. Can you check with the designer or the Paton staff to ask for the correction? The comments below show that there is indeed a problem with the pattern.

I am on row 13 of chart I and it shows a double decrease on the last stitch (on chart II row 13 as well). However, there are only 2 stitches left in the section. How do I do a Sl1,K2tog,Psso on 2 stitches??

I agree, the 20 th row instructions are confusing. I have knitted 94 rows per instructions and the shawl looks too small compared to the picture. Help.

Hi Jamgal76 3944304, We have just checked with the pattern on the Patons website and have verified that there is no missing information. Hopefully this helps! -Editors of AllFreeKnitting

I like the contrast in colors. This pattern would not look so striking when using a solid color. This is, without a doubt, going onto, "my must knit list."

I'm having trouble understanding a part of this pattern. The 20th row instructions are confusing. Please help!

The 20th row is row 2, which is K1, purl to last stitch, k1 on the last stitch. the rest of the directions are for the shawl in consecutive rows to get you to the next stitch count, so they would be followed as written, they should not have made it a run on sentence with the row 20 instructions, it can only cause confusion.
